Rudel Alberto Hodge, Jr., Esq.

Rudel Alberto Hodge, Jr., Esq., affectionately known as Rudi, is a native-born Virgin Islander from St. Thomas and a dedicated advocate for the betterment of the Virgin Islands. An honor graduate of the Charlotte Amalie High School Class of 2013, he is an attorney licensed to practice law in both New York State and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Rudel earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Law from Binghamton University and his Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law.

A proven leader with a deep commitment to public service, Rudel currently serves as an elected Delegate to the Sixth Constitutional Convention of the U.S. Virgin Islands, where he holds the role of Vice Chair of the Standing Committee on Human Rights. Beyond his legal and civic duties, he is a passionate entrepreneur.

Community building is a cornerstone of Rudel's life. He serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for the Family Resource Center in St. Thomas, is a Board Member for the Zero Tolerance Basketball Organization, coaches the CAHS Moot Court team, and has been a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. since 2018. Outside of his professional and community work, his interests include snorkeling and hiking.

As a candidate for the 37th Legislature (Ballot #12), Rudel's campaign is anchored by his P.R.O.P. plan — Preservation, Respect, Opportunity, and Preparation. His legislative priorities focus on aggressive economic diversification, banking modernization, affordable homeownership, and ensuring strict government accountability. Rudel is fighting to stop the territory's “brain drain” and ensure the Virgin Islands remains “Home” where our families can thrive for generations to come.
